The Foundation is a containment fiction community originating in the web browser game Politics and War. Originally themed around the SCP Wiki’s article SCP-1715, The Foundation would go on to establish independent lore.
While The Foundation no longer exists as an in-game entity, the community continues on Discord.

In-Game Alliance
The Foundation’s in-game came into existence on August 4, 2018. In a post titled “Containment Breach!” on the Politics and War forum[1]https://forum.politicsandwar.com/index.php?/topic/23719-containment-breach/, founder Samuel Bates announced the creation of the alliance.
