The Wayward Society^[1] is a containment fiction community depicting the eponymous organization, an American cryptid-hunting group. Articles document how to find cryptid creatures and supernatural phenomena in the wild. The current iteration of the site is largely defunct due to being overshadowed by contemporaries like the RPC Authority, hostility from the SCP Wiki community as well as internal conflicts and strife. Despite this, it still has a small community active within its format and is not completely dead.
