History

Lt Masipag joined the SCP Wiki on July 25, 2008, during the site’s initial launch on Wikidot.[4]https://www.wikidot.com/user:info/lt-masipag She had previously been known as “Unite 3-012” on the earlier EditThis platform.[5]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76549/thoughts-on-new-site#post-227322 She was appointed as one of the first two moderators alongside Kraito, making her the first female member of senior staff in SCP Wiki history.[6]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/authors-pages, rev. 17[7]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/history-of-the-universe-part-one This appointment occurred during the migration period when the community was transferring content from the EditThis platform to Wikidot.

She participated in transferring content from the old platform, including porting her existing EditThis works as well as thirteen other SCPs: SCP-173, SCP-033, SCP-040, SCP-056, SCP-105, SCP-113, SCP-143, SCP-182, SCP-529 (“Josie the Half-Cat”), SCP-014-J, SCP-112(-ARC), and two SCP-001s (Eberstrom’s and Jonathan Ball’s).[8]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-173, rev. 0[9]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-529, rev. 0[10]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-040, rev. 0[11]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-033, rev. 0[12]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-182, rev. 0[13]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-105, rev. 0[14]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-056, rev. 0[15]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-113, rev. 0[16]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-143, rev. 0[17]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-014-j, rev. 0[18]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-112-arc, rev.0[19]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76796/scp-001[20]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/jonathan-ball-s-proposal[21]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/eberstrom-s-proposal-arc  Lt Masipag was one of three primary contributors, along with far2 and xthevilecorrupter4, who managed the article migration process.[22]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76576/infos[23]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76843/transfer-complete[24]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/history-of-the-universe-part-one She focused on embedding available pictures into the ported SCPs.[25]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-406-arc, rev. 2[26]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-682, rev. 2[27]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-008, rev. 4[28]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-075, rev. 2[29]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-616, rev. 4

Early Community Leadership

During her tenure as moderator, Lt Masipag participated in policy discussions that shaped the wiki’s direction. She engaged in debates about community growth, quality control standards, and the development of canonical lore.[30]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76922/groups-of-interest#post-267467[31]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/archived:secure-facilities-locations

The most notable controversy of her administrative career centered around SCP-001 in July 2008. Lt Masipag unilaterally imported Eberstrom‘s SCP-001 proposal as the definitive entry. Her position was overruled by FritzWillie/The Administrator, re-establishing the system of multiple SCP-001 proposals established on EditThis.[32]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76796/scp-001[33]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/history-of-the-universe-part-one

Departure and Legacy

Lt Masipag’s active participation in the community declined after Summer 2008.[34]https://www.wikidot.com/user:info/lt-masipag Her moderation powers were revoked in 2010 due to inactivity.[35]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-252002/more-of-a-return-than-an-introduction-than-a She made a brief return in 2010, posting twice in community discussions before disappearing permanently from the site.[36]https://www.wikidot.com/user:info/lt-masipag

Lt Masipag would be converted into an author avatar by Roget/RJB_R/pixelatedHarmony in her tale “Meeting of the Minds” and “End of Olympians Hub”, both published in 2013.[37]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/meeting-of-the-minds[38]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/end-of-olympians-hub

Works

Lt Masipag created multiple SCP articles during the EditThis period, as well as infrastructure pages on the WikiDot that influenced subsequent SCP development.[39]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/lt-masipag-s-bio She wrote about humanoid and psychological anomalies, with several works featuring sentient beings possessing empathic or psychological properties. Her works emphasized practical containment applications and interconnected canonical elements.

SCPs

SCP-148 (“The Telekill Alloy”)

Describes a metallic substance that blocks telepathic and mind-affecting properties.[40]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-148 The substance became a recurring element in containment procedures across subsequent SCP articles, including her SCP-132-ARC.[41]((https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/history-of-the-universe-part-one[42]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76629/scp-132-arc Originally written on EditThis and ported by Lt Masipag to the WikiDot on July 25, 2008.[43]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-148, rev. 0

SCP-132-ARC (“Sufferer of the World’s Sorrow”)

Featured an empathic human female from Palau who absorbed the emotional states of others. The containment procedures required specialized containment lined with SCP-148. Was originally written on EditThis and ported to WikiDot by Lt Masipag on July 25, 2008.[44]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-132-arc, rev. 0 Archived in 2011.[45]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76629/scp-132-arc#post-1023965 Was controversial, in part due to the inclusion of SCP-148.[46]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76629/scp-132-arc

SCP-247 (“A Compass”, non-viable)

Described a late eighteenth century Dutch mariner’s compass that does not point north, but instead points to an unknown destination. The object exhibits a compulsive effect on those in its presence, causing them to become preoccupied with obtaining it. It was deleted from the SCP Wiki on WikiDot by 2010.[47]https://web.archive.org/web/20100308090102/http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com:80/scp-247

SCP-423-J (“Love Salamander”, non-viable)

Described a blue salamander-like creature with orange external gills that releases pheromones causing any exposed organism to become obsessively focused on obtaining direct contact with it, ranging from harmless to sexual contact. The condition proves contagious through contact with affected subjects, and victims lose linguistic ability except for phrases expressing desire for SCP-423. It was originally placed in the Joke section of Series 1 on EditThis and on the WikiDot.[48]https://web.archive.org/web/20080923080342/http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-423[49]https://web.archive.org/web/20080903043644/http://www.editthis.info:80/scp_wiki/Continue_on[50]https://web.archive.org/web/20080924221537/http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-series

Infrastructure and Canonical Contributions

Lt Masipag created the Groups of Interest and Secure Facilities Locations pages, which became an early organizational tool on the SCP Wiki.[51]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/archived:secure-facilities-locations[52]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/archived:groups-of-interest Though both are now archived and obsolete, the framework established by these lore entries sparked the system for categorizing antagonist and ally organizations within the SCP universe, as well as Foundation infrastructure. The system introduced concepts that evolved into groups like the Church of the Broken God and the Global Occult Coalition.[53]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/history-of-the-universe-part-one

The telekill alloy concept extended beyond SCP-148 to become a recurring element throughout SCP literature. The material appears in containment procedures, tales, and other SCP articles as a Foundation resource for dealing with psychic threats.[54]e.g. https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-7814, https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/end-of-olympians-hub, https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-80-k-j, etc.[55]https://www.tiktok.com/@site_42/video/6927045795023801606

Telekill alloy became a pejorative and faux paus in SCP writing for its widespread use and overpowered ease-of-containment regarding telepathic anomalies, being called a “cop-out”.[56]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-88103/scp-148#post-448274[57]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76629/scp-132-arc#post-934497[58]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-76629/scp-132-arc#post-819759[59]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-88103/scp-148#post-448294[60]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-88103/scp-148[61]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-88103/scp-148#post-1277026 The rewrite of SCP-148 gave telekill alloy a larger adverse-effect profile to compensate for its overpowered abilities.[62]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-88103/scp-148#post-1008356[63]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-88103/scp-148#post-1279446

Tales

Lt Masipag wrote a supplemental interview to this SCP that has also not survived.[64]https://web.archive.org/web/20081228220335/http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/interview-247

Quotes

“On the old site, I talked to Saintseiya about a dialogue between my SCP-132 and his SCP-182 and he seemed quite enthusiastic about the idea. We never really got around to it, and I wonder if he even knows this site exists. It just wouldn’t seem right to go ahead on it without him.” — Lt Masipag[81]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/forum/t-86637/the-nature-of-the-foundation#post-267465

“She contributed many of the important pages that still affect canon in major ways, including the groups of interest page, telekill alloy, and moving articles over from the old wiki.” — from The History of the Universe, Part I[82]https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/history-of-the-universe-part-one
